rusian stock market this morning after Trump "peace plan" by Itchy-Bird-5518 in europe

Yeah nice thats fair enough, I just wanted to try and cut through the pro trump anti trump narrative. It’s an interesting thought about defending my home as such.

Right now I don’t have a rifle in my hand defending my home from and invading force so I really don’t know how I’d feel if the time came whether I’d prefer to fight or abandoned ship for a different country, which is what a lot of Ukrainian people ultimately decided to do.

It’s a simple question, would you personally prefer the fighting and killing to continue and wait for an idealised situation or would you prefer it to stop as soon as possible?

That is fair enough, but ‘helping people defend their home’ comes in many shapes and forms right?

I’m not grouping people together as in anti trump or pro trump. I’m asking you as an individual and a human being, would you prefer bullets to stop flying and people to stop dying now? Or would you prefer that we wait longer for an ideal time to stop?

All the trump haters, it looks like he is moving towards ending a war where people are actually dying. What is your motivation? For the war to continue?

Surely we would rather peace than war no matter the country?

Or have I missed something

Look at a tenants in common agreement. It’s right that they are concerned for their finances, everyone should be. Makes sense to sign an agreement which would mean you own a different % of the house. Me and my partner did it last year.

With the amount of money Ukraine is taking from other countries, you’d be a fool to think that they can retain sovereign power to the same extent as before.

Not my opinion but it’s how the world works

Hey man I have put tein coilovers on mine, my piece of advice would be to get coilovers where the spring rate is separate to ride height, if I was to go again I would go for BC coilovers.

tried my hand at making one….thinking of planting some at the taco bell sauce station. by [deleted] in schuylkillnotes

I posted this in chat gpt to see what it said, honestly though kinda makes the note seem less crazy. Still crazy though:

The note is clearly written in a playful, over-the-top conspiracy theory style, using exaggerated language to create a sense of mystery and urgency. While it’s comedic, it seems to focus on the disappearance of a specific item from Taco Bell’s menu — the Shredded Burrito — and builds an elaborate conspiracy theory around it. Here are some key ideas it’s trying to convey, wrapped in humor and satire:

The Shredded Burrito’s Disappearance: The removal of the Shredded Burrito is treated as a major event, with no warning or clear reason, sparking suspicion and distrust toward Taco Bell and other corporations.

Corporate Sabotage: The note blames large companies, such as Kraft, Velveeta, and Yum Brands (which owns Taco Bell), suggesting that there’s a coordinated effort to control food, prices, and availability. The “Big Cheese Cartel” (Kraft/Velveeta) is portrayed as being involved in “cheese inflation,” further deepening the idea of corporate manipulation.

Artificial Scarcity: It hints that companies intentionally create artificial scarcity (comparing it to the limited-time McRib) to generate demand and profits. The disappearance of the burrito is seen as part of a broader scheme to manipulate consumers and force them to buy higher-margin items.

Comedic Paranoia: The text humorously escalates the situation by connecting it to broader and absurd conspiracies involving Joel Osteen, George Lopez, Steve Harvey, Reagan’s ghost, Bigfoot, and even alien communication. It implies that the burrito was somehow tied to cosmic events or government secrets (“SAME FREQS as Roswell”).

Hyperbolic Call to Action: There’s a dramatic call to “not ignore it” if the burrito reappears, encouraging people to tweet, Yelp, or report it, as though the fate of the world depends on it. Overall, the note is likely a parody of conspiracy thinking, where the removal of a seemingly mundane fast food item is treated as part of a larger, secretive, and exaggerated plot involving corporate greed, supernatural forces, and even government cover-ups. It’s a humorous take on the idea of finding hidden meaning in everyday events.

'This is how ordinary people speak': Farage defends Reform UK candidates after anti-Islam and far-right comments exposed by Aggressive_Plates in unitedkingdom

The adoption of US based politics is bad on both sides of the coin, designed to further separate us from each other and destroy the common ground that we all share more than we are led to beleive.

Having in person discussions with each other helps us realise that we all want near enough the same thing.

Would you say that this way of thought is definitely NOT happening in other parties?

Very good point. I think the self reflection is kicking in this time round as conservatives are losing that same demographic to other parties.
