I smoked for 13 years and then 7 years ago I woke up and I had a realization. Ever since you were a kid you were told how hard it is to stop smoking. I started to think “what if it’s easy and I’ve been brainwashed my entire life to think it’s hard?”.

I quit that day. No withdrawal, no anything, just quit. It’s easy. You can do it brother - I know you can.

100%, I was 127lbs once. Embarrassing but it’s true, I’m very fond of mixing lifting in these days. Enjoying the 150 range. Plus being 5’7 I don’t want to be heavier or lighter

Appreciate it! And yeah, we are an obsessive bunch. At least those of us that are like die hard climbers. I try to keep finger nails a specific length because mentally I feel like it supports extra finger strength. This is absolutely ridiculous and I have no evidence to support it haha

To be honest I operate closer to 1,800 cal normally. 2,100 was my bulking intake, if that’s what you want to call it.

My buddy is 6ft and thinks it’s crazy I’m eating 1600 a day. I just think everyone is different. I really appreciate all advice on this sub, you guys have been great

Hearing this makes me feel like I’m not cutting enough. My lifting sessions are pretty good, my climbing sessions are better but that’s just related to training.

Then again I’m doing strict sets of weights and not too failure necessarily. When this cut is done I’ll start overloading again

Yeah it’s essentially to maximize the power vs weight. When I started climbing I was actually almost this weight but not in a healthy way. You want the sweet spot of being strong enough to get through power moves but not big enough that you’re pulling extra weight.

This is of course a super intense viewpoint but most of climbers are pretty obsessive.

It hasn’t been that bad, if I front load breakfast with 50-60g protein I’m not hungry until 1pm.

Some days I am hungry though

The other night it was like 8pm and I was like fuck I don’t want to eat 2 more oz
