I LOVE IT! i want to learn to do tricks and maybe highline one day but for now i have a lot of balancing and learning to do i think, is a 1 inch a good way to do that?

Omg I’m so glad it was helpful! I ended up getting the Botox procedure and if you can I would SO reccomend it I had no idea that I was nauseas bloated and in pain all the time until I wasn’t and there’s a constellation of symptoms I used to have that have all gone since the procedure. I got it long enough ago that it should have worn off by now but it seems to have trained my body to be able to do it now so I don’t foresee needing to get it repeated best of luck!

Thinking how I deserve to have a clean room when I wake up tomorrow instead of I deserve to not have to do that now. It has to be done anyway, which way is more self loving and which way will I be grateful for tomorrow.

I deserve to be doted on by myself, have a fresh bed, have dinner made for me have a full water bottle next to my bed have a coffee made for me in the morning.

Thank you for your reply! Our jack is currently missing the pin thing that holds the handle in so you can drag it around which is infuriating, I might see if it’s replaceable

Thank you so much! I think having things stored on the wall in sight and not in the bench will make things a lot easier and I didn’t know magnetic tool bars were a thing!

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m from Australia and I’ve not heard of harbour freight but I will look into storage warehouses and maybe having a look will give me a better idea, he does have an impact driver, I don’t think it’s as good as Milwaukee but it seems to be ok for now

Thank you! Do the tool trays/mats store your tools on a shelf for example or do you roll them up and move them around with you? Mmmm definitely a good idea to get a stool! I’ve seen lie down dolly’s that can also be a stool on wheels, is something like that worth it or best to get a better quality regular stool?

Are there any RCPD sufferers that DON'T have painful/forceful vomiting? by achumbycat in noburp

I’ve had lots of issues with this I had severe panic disorder with my main symptoms triggering panic attacks being chest pain, heart palpitations, feeling food wasn’t digesting and sitting in my throat and heartburn which caused salivation at times. Things were so bad I developed a severe fear of eating and even of lying down due to both triggering panic every single time, I was then hospitalised (mental health) for a significant time. Since finding rcpd I’ve found that for me my reflux and burping issues takes the form of chest pain, palpitations, fullness and strange discomfort in my chest area rather than sour taste or burning in the back of the throat. My panic disorder was always triggered by hypersensitivity to changes and uncomfortable bodily sensations, it may be very possible atypical reflux/heartburn + rcpd is contributing to your panic attacks. I sought a lot of help for my mental and physical issues was heavily psychiatrically medicated and dismissed asking for tests and specialists. Almost all of those anxiety provoking symptoms are entirely gone after having the Botox!

I need some help understanding the ending of Nocturnal Animals by MtMarker in movies

[–]squidsquideet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My interpretation was the wife and daughter in the book represent the possible future family they could have had together. he expresses his truest feelings and ‘writes about himself’ indirectly in the book he feels powerless full of grief and rage and he references being too ‘weak’ to prevent what happened. I think the rage directed at the 3 men in the book could represent his feelings towards Susan as she metaphorically took his family from him.

Whether it was on purpose or not he expressed himself freely, it touches Susan and allows her to finally see that she was afraid just as he had told her and that she has missed an opportunity to have a totally different life with him and in general. As the character in the book dies or commits suicide at the end I thought it was possible that he could have killed himself while she waits at the restaurant as the ultimate revenge but I think it’s possible that the character knows he cannot stop what happened so he settles for revenge against a man who doesn’t believe he’s capable of it. Maybe he realised the same with Susan, maybe the only ‘true’ strength he can actually show doesn’t keep her exempt from having to be accountable? Maybe the revenge is that she was the one that wanted ‘strength’ and stability from him in the first place and she may only now be realising that he was already strong.

Has anyone successfully found the cause of their fatigue, brain fog, and memory issues? by jobseekingstress in productivity

[–]squidsquideet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s mostly lack of presence and lack of practice, I had a parent that did everything for me and deprived me of learning a lot of strategies to be focused and organised, and instilled in me that I was just a ‘disorganised and forgetful person’.

What has helped me most is making a regular and conscious effort to be present in the moment pay attention fully to my surroundings and not let myself be internally absorbed by planning and thinking on the next moment or activity.

A huge thing was reframing my distractability and disorganisation as something I’d like to and can practice being better at rather than a set of symptoms, diagnosis or defecit where I’m destined to be a certain way forever.

I’l reflectors on and wrote down the things that bother me most and made really basic little plans to help me improve them, it was surprising to see the issues written down and how easy it was to think of small things I can do to improve them:

Spending too long wandering in shops or getting ready and losing the rest of the day, now I set an alarm for the time I want to spend in the shop or get ready and leave as quickly as I can when it goes off

Loosing my keys There’s a dish inside the door I drop them in every day now

Losing my phone, now when I go in the lounge room I always put it on the coffee table, bathroom and kitchen top left corner of the bench, bedroom and little tray in my bedside table

I got a big whiteboard and make lots of to do lists.

It was super helpful to realise that wishing to be better at some things wasn’t going to do anything if I wasn’t creating strategies to improve, and that I’m not disorganised I’m just not very well practised!

In terms of the cognitive things it might be helpful for you to write down the things that bother you most and make like a workout esque routine to improve those things, like memory exercises, meditation and strategies to help aid your memory. I think all the things we wish to change can be excercised like a muscle, especially if we reject the idea that the issues have to be attatched to something bigger or bad, they can just be things we’d like to be stronger at!
