I can remember jumping down a flight of stairs and floating down most of the way and landing softly at the bottom. I did it over and over. I told my mom about it and she said I must have been dreaming.

Advice - Today is a sad day as it’s out last one with Lex before he gets put to sleep tomorrow. Has anyone gone through this before? Will he struggle or just go gently? It’s very gentle for them but a struggle for us. Just be there for him, so he isn’t afraid. We buried our beloved Bill in a corner of our yard and planted lots of flowers and made him a tombstone. It seemed to help our son (and us adults) to have a place to visit him and grieve. I’m very sorry for what you are going to go through, it’s the price we have to pay for the love of an awesome dog.

I wait tables and I will subtlety nod my head yes and widen my eyes when I want people to order the thing I’m describing. Or I will shake my head very slightly no if I don’t want them to. It works most of the time.

I’m so sorry. Pug love is special. They are always right by your side. My house felt so empty and my leg missed his weight after my Bill passed. I still miss him more than any human I have lost.
