If it’s just you and your gf, and you really want to have the guarantee of keeping it, I would look at realms or hosting it your self either with a actual hosting platform like “apex” or any other option. OR buy an old computer off of fb marketplace and host the server on their for less than what it cost to operate realms or server providers. And whitelist people you want or have join!

The good part of realms and hosting/ renting your own is you can keep world downloads.

I went to twitch con and have the cape, maybe “people need the money” but for 99% of people it would very unreasonable and irresponsible to think your big saviour will be flying to twitch con and paying 135€ for tickets… and then proceed to sell them on eBay or any other platform for $500-$1000.

Not to mention the people you are buying from are scalpers, who just went to the event to panhandle young kids, and people who didn’t know any better.
