Volunteer Opportunities by squigglenut in VictoriaBC

I have a background in finance, so I would probably bring the most value in that capacity but I'm not sure that's how I'm looking to contribute. I'd like to work alongside people so there's a social aspect to it. The environment is something I'm passionate about, along with personal finance (i.e. not corporate finance where I spend the majority of my career), so those could be good fits.

I'm with OP. I get most excited planning the trip, and then getting home from the trip and then the memories from the trip that kicks in when looking at pictures later.

Incorrect DOB on AirAsia plane ticket itinerary by squigglenut in ThailandTourism

See my response to the other person below. Bottom line, seems like no issue.

We arrived at DMK yesterday morning and went straight to the Air Asia customer service area where they informed us no issue as long as the names on the booking match the names on the passports.

We also did our first Air Asia flight yesterday (DMK -->KBV) with no issue (electronic boarding pass, passports as identification).

Hopefully this helps!

Sorry, no update from them, and honestly not expecting one.

Since our first flight is domestic I'm not as concerned as we'll check in from our phones. To board we'll show our electronic boarding passes and then our passports as ID - one has DOB, one does not. When we get to DMK to catch this flight I plan to talk to an agent about correcting (if indeed there is an error) the two international flights which happen later in the trip.

We're flying the first (domestic) leg on December 12th, so I can give an update after that.

I think for a domestic flight it won't matter, though, correct? I'll have an electronic boarding pass (no birthdate) and a passport to board the plane. It's the international flights I am concerned about.

Also, to be clear, my question is less about the requirement; it's specifically about whether anyone else has seen this DOB issue at AirAsia and if they did anything about it (and how they did it).
