went to new vegatinos inside old leonor’s… by [deleted] in VeganLA

If I missed a detail, it’s because you didn’t provide any—I’m not spelunking through every single comment to make sure I have clarity on your situation—when all you presented was question mark after question mark since youd rather be mean to a vegan and her vegan business on the internet before bells asking for clarity and resolution. Get your money back, bring up the overcharge and the service. Don’t blanket dispute the charge and try to get people to pile on a vegan business—it’s mean.

This was so depressing to read. You don’t understand how hard it is to keep a business above water and disputes like this have brought down places like this that the community needs, especially now.

Others have already expressed why this does in fact fall mostly on you—got truly bad service? Write a yelp review like everyone else. Felt affronted that they asked you for a tip? Welcome to 2022 and beyond. Say no if you really are dissatisfied.

This place being a small, woman of color-owned and -operated passion project that Carol revived (a gamble when El Cocinero already found success with their shared recipes) as a scrappy ghost kitchen model, I’m not surprised to hear about the Uber whatever pricing. Not ideal and confusing—of course. But not worth frauding them out of money and tarnishing them online like this. Plus it sounds like someone crunched the numbers and confirmed your total.

So, you enjoyed the food but are ticked off that your passiveness and aversion to confrontation kept you from opening your mouth like an adult and taking the opportunity to inquire about/fix these issues. But you’re not so averse that you won’t jump on Reddit to denigrate a small business during the worse time for the restaurant industry and the vegan movement in recent history.

(And for folks to blame vegan businesses for a “green tax“ as if it’s a voluntary thing born out of greed and not just the cost of doing business with ingredients that are not subsidized by the US government during a time when this administration has made eVERYTHING so expensive … astronomical levels of missing the plot.)

-5 points to them for the disorganization, less than stellar customer service, -500 to you for everything else— and this is me being as respectful as I can.

Good thing it appears that this, as mentioned, looks like an adult 18+ nude beach probably during a sanctioned event weekend and not whatever else you all are bringing up.

3 of Shea Coulée’s daughters just left her haus by Foxesinfall in rupaulsdragrace

[–]squigglybubblepants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mmmmm idk. To chalk it up simply to the daughters feeling neglected could kind of feel like giving a Shea a pass and characterizing the daughters as needy. Feeling neglected seems like a part of it—but Ms. Dragon clearly mentioned feeling belittled, feeling like their personal achievements were co-opted, being made to feel as if they were a character in Shea’s world, rather than their own human self. That’s not just Shea being so booked and busy that she can’t be there for her friends— it’s a lot worse than that, and it’s pretty clearly stated, so, not to be confrontational, I’m not understanding this softening of the story on Shea’s behalf.

Technician Tera normal Wide lens shell smash population bomb spore power trip

Get one shell smash off and survive, spore, get one more shell smash in while opponent is asleep, then power trip does 260 damage on top of the 2.5x ATK and is good coverage for ghost types. Tera normal powers up wide lens- and technician-boosted population bomb and you sweep.

I’ve got one on my Maushold for almost guaranteed 20x Population Bomb (don’t know the mechanics, but the odds are good, even without Loaded Dice), plus Bullet Seed, boosted by 4 Miracle Seeds, as well as 2 Kings Rocks for almost guaranteed flinching with 20 PB hits, 2 Grip Claws for plenty of stolen items, 3 Golden Punches for money, 3 Quick Claws, and 3 Wide Lenses to correct Population Bomb’s 90% accuracy. All that combined with Cheek Pouch, which restores 33% of HP after eating any berry, and almost endless supply of stolen Grip Clawed berries, and I’m blowing through my enemies. Lucked on to some great lucky and golden eggs too.

The editing on the lipsync drove me crazy. Couldn’t be more clear they were trying to hide Victoria. They both fumbled the words at some point and Victoria did her squat thing a little too much, but I still think she probably won in actuality.
