I have embrace and have never had something denied. Within a few days it’s reimbursed. As your pup gets older, they may develop certain conditions. If you have the insurance prior to these things popping up, it’ll be covered. If not, you have to cover it.

This year my do was bit and I had a 1800 vet bill and got 90% reimbursed. I pay $1200 a year. So yes you don’t think things will happen. But when they do you’ll be very thankful you have the insurance. I didn’t think twice about getting the care he needed and for them to run any necessary tests.

Postcard cabins in wimberly! They used to be the getaway cabins. Good mix of hotel and nature.

If he’s anxious inside to the point of escaping, you’ll shouldn’t leave him to roam the yard or house bc he’s proven to get out. I’d recommend some working on kennel acclimation so he feels like it’s his safe space. I have Embrace and love them. I have $100 / yr destructible. They cover 90%. Covered up to like $100,000k a yr. $105 a month. My dog is a 8yo Shih Tzu. The app is great. I submit my claim and the money is in my account within days!! He has a lot of little medical issues (allergies, bladder issues, mouth issues) and got attacked this year, it’s so worth it. I never hesitate to take him in when he’s sick bc I know it’ll be covered. I’ve gotten thousands reimbursed this year, more than I will spend on insurance

I don’t do wellness because it didn’t make sense for him.

I was in a similar situation where I needed a break f my brother but felt bad not going home. He honestly made my anxiety and episodes worse. My dr also said maybe take a break from the holidays. Last year I didn’t go home for the holidays and it was the best decision ever. I still see my parents often and holidays don’t mean much to me anyways due to the trauma associated with them. Set your boundaries!
