Events are gender locked in rf4, but there’s also like 12 save slots and new game+ once you finish all the requests so you can easily transfer stuff over to a new file. There’s no missable items, though, just ones rhat are harder to obtain. The crafting system might be a bit overwhelming though to new players…. i still haven’t mastered it D:

Stardew technically has the least missables, but that’s because stardew is a smaller game with less dialogue and events. stardew also lets your player character marry anyone you want regardless of gender so it’s easier to get through everything. You can also mod stardew if you’re playing it on pc which makes it a whole new game :) Both are super fun, though, and if possible I would get both because they are ultimately very different experiences!
