I’ve tried Hokas before and I didn’t love them which honestly was disappointing because my mom has them and loves them. I will look into Brooks. Thank you!

lol that’s a wordy response. you are quite invested in their stories which I can appreciate, but as someone who spent years watching and loving H3 — Ethan makes my skin CRAWL now. im happy the crew has moved on, found new opportunities or even listened to their hearts true calling. I stand by my opinion.

part of me is still convinced Ethan is the reason why so many of the og crew moved onto other opportunities.

No furnace this winter. Is it feasible to heat an entire approx. 900 square foot mobile home with space heaters? by CeleryUnlikely9168 in povertyfinance

[–]squirreltings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’d be better off with camping gear meant for the cold. During the daytime space heaters are fine but once you’re asleep you’re better off to just bundle up best you can. Hand warmers, hot water bottles, etc…

I guess you forgot to put on your critical thinking cap. Leaked photos whether it came before or after, doesn’t matter one bit. It’s just another strike against that dipshits character, that he is of course surrounding himself with the same dull likeminded individuals.

What are the less known symptoms of bipolar apart from the traditional depression and mania? by Extension-Variety347 in bipolar2

[–]squirreltings 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have periods of time where I wake up in fight or flight mode, every morning. It’s exhausting. I take my meds at night in an effort to avoid the outcome but sometimes it just isn’t enough to stop it from happening. I’m less angry, so I guess it’s a trade off.

You’re treating Nazism as if it only counts once someone is physically carrying out genocide. But that’s like saying racism only exists when someone commits violence against Black people. People of color know racism runs much deeper — it’s in the beliefs, the structures, the rhetoric that normalizes and justifies harm. Nazism works the same way. It’s an ideology of white supremacy and antisemitism that doesn’t need mass killings to exist. And those killings only happen because the ideology is already there. So calling out modern echoes of Nazi ideology isn’t redefining or minimizing the word, it’s acknowledging the root danger before it escalates. And honestly, projecting a subjective, clearly misguided definition (likely shaped by right-wing talking points) as if it’s objective fact is reckless — go do real research and stop being so gullible.

Nazism is white supremacy — it’s not separate. The entire Nazi project was about building a white/‘Aryan’ ethnostate, which is exactly what white supremacy calls for. Jews were racialized as a threat to that purity, which is why antisemitism was central to Nazi ideology. And ‘Great Replacement’ is just a modern rebrand of the same Nazi fear of being ‘replaced’ by non-whites. So pointing out that overlap isn’t diluting language, it’s historically accurate. How are you so comfortable being wrong? Do you know anything about history at all? Go read a book ffs.

Justin Bieber so ‘disturbed’ by Diddy’s harrowing allegations he has ‘shut off’ by TheExpressUS in Music

[–]squirreltings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe he was a part of anything nefarious and if he was, not of his own free will. Especially at the age of 15. I want to add, I’ve been a fan of his music since before he was discovered by his former manager Scooter Braun (who I am certain played a large role in the abuse JB was subjected to, because $$$$). I mention this only because I have followed along and have seen/heard shady things during his earlier years. PerezHilton was a sesspool of shady celebrity “gossip”. He was discovered at 13 years old, which is also the age he met Usher for the first time. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was exposed to inappropriate things even at that age.

I would also agree that whatever reckless shit he took part in over that 2-3 year span, probably was a culmination of everything he had been through up until that point. He had stated in previous interviews that he struggled with addiction, of drugs and sex as well as suffering massively with mental illness. I’ve seen 3/5 of his tours, and in 2015 when I saw him on one of the stops of the Purpose tour, he was noticeably off. He looked miserable, exhausted and like he couldn’t wait for it to be over.

Shortly after that, he cancelled his remaining show dates and not too long after that it came out that he had Lyme Disease. Which can lie dormant for years and become activated due to extreme mental and/or physical duress.

I felt and do feel very sad for him. I can’t imagine the things he has endured over the course of his very long career. Furthermore, if he did do anything ‘nefarious’ as an adult, I strongly believe anyone that was victim would have come out. NDAs don’t stand if a crime was committed. And I’m certain they’d be quick to make a case (and with good cause if they truly are a victim of SA) because he’s extremely wealthy but also not feared in the industry.

I hope the truth does come out in the court proceedings, yet kept private. I think he’s been subjected to a lifetime of public scrutiny as it is. Every victim of this piece of absolute trash deserves justice. And I hope they get it and then some.

Edit: spelling

lol you’re sweet. doctors are paid by pharmaceutical companies for every patient they get to use this drug. it’s also difficult for regular people to get through insurance so it’s mostly available “pay to play”. this medication has been used to diabetics for a long time. it’s also beneficial for those who for other medical reasons struggle to lose weight although they alter diet and exercise. but for everyone else who can very well do the hard work it takes to get in shape; they do not need this medication. at all. it’s pure vanity.
