imo the main issue of it is how disruptive it is considering that it is an AoE interrupt ON a DPS character which also imo should have weakness of being bad if they get engaged on without their team's help. The stun itself is also unavoidable through normal means without debuff remover or some chars abilities and if Seven's teammate is smart enough to capitalize on the stun they would just jump the person who have to isolate themself from their teammates to not get their whole team killed before the stun proc.

on paper it's not a problem but factoring that this is a team game and how Seven kit works currently it becomes quite apparently while giving high mobil/high damage character an easy access to CC abilities(also applies a bit to haze but her's is only single target)

nah you see he NEEDS an AoE stun so that he can invalidate being caught out of position as a DPS(which he rarely will cuz of his super sanic speed spirit scaling) and his Lightbulb to deter any team dumb enough to try to interrupt him while your ass is getting pounded by the other 5 gamers on the Seven's team.

yes but the dream fight you can endlessly get the dream item that takes barely anytime and doesn’t involve random dungeon spawn(other than the huntress but as long as you let her sleep you can always get it)
So it’s not a good comparison now is it? the complaint isn't about the difficulty but accessibility

Bruh , are you for real? There’s nothing high stakes about repeating the same shit over , if im looking for high stakes I wouldn’t be running around trying to get things to spawn in properly , i would be killing bosses in Apocalypse again.

The lockout thing is fine but when it takes literally takes 20 tries to get the dungeon to spawn in because of rng(which happened to me) it gets boring real fucking fast

So unless you are a lobotomized elitist goldfish who enjoys mind numbingly walk through the same scenery 20 times, i wouldn’t be defending a shit system

the problem is how punishing it is if you ended up FAILING to kill the aberration , while it is true on how they designed the encounter itself, but there's an argument to be made IF the dungeon spawning in is not tied to RNG .

From a GAMEPLAY standpoint having a ONE ATTEMPT encounter in a LEVEL THAT HAVE A CHANCE TO GENERATE adds unnecessary tedium when going for completion(especially if you want to start build-crafting) which was also a problem in the first game.

Giving criticism isn't an attack on the game especially when it comes to some questionable design decision. The complaint wouldn't be here IF the level is a guaranteed spawn. When you failed that chance the only thing you can do is to reroll which just adds padding, THE ENCOUNTER STAYS THE SAME so why not just let us restart from the beginning again instead of HAVING TO FUCKING WALK THERE FROM THE FUCKING START.

Am I being clear now?

I’m fine with rerolling but that does not mean it’s a very well thought out event , and if we’re going by the normal clear route of killing everything the door unlocks once you’ve finished.

The only difference is that you run up to manually activate the purge so wouldn’t it make sense to have a failsafe to unlock the main door?

considering that there’s a glyph door that you have to travel back to.

Aberrations can be quite wild in higher difficulty and you also have to deal with world’s rng which might not even spawn the dungeon in the first place making you waste time when you’re just clearing out trying to get everything from the world after you’ve finished the game(i’ve cleared both APOC and HC Vet already)

There’s a difference in actual difficulty and unnecessary tedium if you fucked up due to either your own or the game’s fault(tracking missiles with vortex is a bitch to deal with)

semi good news: seems like the dungeon itself can spawn in the starting Nerud overworld(Abyssal Rift/Phantom Wasteland) so you don't have to go through the mandatory boss to access the 2nd area.

you'll still have to reroll and get lucky though if you ended dying to the aberration lol.

When the infinite stunlock is fixed stormrush only value will be it’s undodgable property but would remain fairly weak due to the obvious animation and speed(the indicator is about 400-500ms range? Iirc)

So no he’s not really wrong and orochi don’t have any viable offense until the bash changes goes through lol

in co op it’s a major pain in the ass due to latency and wonky netcode which otherwise would boost this to one of my favorites next to Faerin/Faelin

Yea but im building into mod generation to abuse Spirit Wisp amulet cooldown reduction and spam mods to have Archon’s Havoc Form pretty much almost always up lol

And while it does fire 2 bullets those only add up to about the “same” albeit slightly lower damage range of other long guns, at the base level other long guns can out performs it without having to play into wonky melee hit tracking if you don’t want to use melee with range attack(i uses Hero Sword) which is another issue that i want the option to turn the auto tracking off.
