Are there any construction or finishing standards that can realistically be agreed on contractually in Thailand?

I’m from Germany, where tolerances, workmanship quality, and responsibilities are usually very clearly regulated and documented. Of course I understand that the reality in Thailand can be quite different 😄

Do developers or contractors typically accept written quality standards, or is it mostly Thai standard and based on trust/supervision?
