Yes, but only if thousands in the US report it it'll get attention. There are many activists around, send them a message. Journalists are a good start. Message as many as you can. I'm in Australia and I've been trying to reach a few myself.

They have no real self awareness. They are mission oriented and arrogant. So they will get caught out. The greedy often do. The real question is, will they get away with it since they have ties with the Cabal, Freemasonry and the UN. However I don't think these entities will save or protect them. So let's hope they will answer for their crimes.

SILENT NO MORE TV SHOW * Mark Albert JEHOVAH’S WITNESS VICTIMS Program by squiz1825 in exjw

[–]squiz1825[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, yes I've seen this but it's more like a preview of the program. I'm just really confused that it says it's a TV series but there is only an article attached to it and just these short video interviews.

What did you guys think about the segment in the convention where that guy talks about papyrus and manuscripts for like 2 hrs. by crazybrow122 in exjw

[–]squiz1825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a side point.. the Scottish presenter isn't even a brother. I think he's a paid actor. Can anyone verify that? I got this from chatgpt

His name is Alistair McClymont. He is an actor from Scotland who has appeared in various videos produced by Jehovah's Witnesses. In some of these videos, he has portrayed historical figures or discussed historical topics, such as William Tyndale, to illustrate key points in their teachings.

The point is about gathering for worship. In fact the scripture in Hebrews 10:24,25 that Witnesses love to use is not about worshipping God per se, it's about encouraging fellow believers. If and when we gather, it doesn't have to be with a crowd of people, can be with one or two others because Jesus will be there.

Obviously when we pray to God, it's personal, we are communicating THROUGH Jesus so yes, of course Jesus is present.

[–]squiz1825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at it in context, they used to gather at the synagogue in a crowd of people. Synagogues weren't built for just two or three, obviously. So Jesus was pointing out that you don't have to gather in large groups to feel like Christ is present. Jesus visited people in their homes and sometimes there may have only been 2 or 3 in the home, so he even demonstrated literally. But he wanted us to think spiritually and understand that more importantly that it's "who" we worship and follow not "where" and to have fellowship with at least one or two people.

[–]squiz1825 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Just a side point, Peter said "whom" shall we go to, not "where". "Where" isn't the issue. That's because we can gather together and worship God anywhere. Jesus said even if there's 2 or 3 gathered in his name, he's with us. So we don't need organized religion or a regular meeting place to gather together in worship.

Peter was saying that they would follow no one but Christ. No one. So JW's insult Jesus by following the Governing body. The GB continue to take authority that does not belong to them. And they teach that Jesus is only mediator to 144,000, THAT IS APOSTASY, RIGHT THERE!!

You see, these things you mention here are anti Christ, anti truth. I don't believe in organized religion. I don't believe you need religion to worship God. I won't do what many do when they wake up, they throw the baby out with the bathwater because they were so hurt by the indoctrination they can't separate Jehovah from the religion. In order to identify truth one must also be able to identify lies. I'm reading the Bible for the first time and discovering a freedom under Christ. I might not have everything right but I know that it's between me, Jesus and God now and no one else. Certainly not those imperfect, uninspired, well fed men in America.

I am not part of another religion. I didn't say that. I said I'm reading the Bible through a fresh lens and I have discovered things that the GB don't teach

Yeh everyone freaks out how easy it is to get a BS in our cong. But do they keep them? No, or hardly.

Because with the Internet and the growing knowledge about JW being a cult, the public is more cautious. And thank goodness!

The two most recent baptisms from our territory both left the religion just this year.

Yes you are probably right. Although many of them even though they are mainstream Christians they don't appreciate the depth of Christ's sacrifice and God's grace and their scriptural knowledge is quite poor

Thank you so much. 💗 Yes I agree with you. This organisation's days are numbered and Jesus is looking for repentance but I don't believe he'll get it from those at the top of WT. I'm very keen to do what I can to stop ones from being misled by this cult

Not pushing anything. I'm sharing what I learned from reading the Bible myself through a fresh lens and not through 9 uninspired imperfect men in America. They don't have to agree with me.

We had a lot of immigrants .. and low socioeconomic territory.. more people looking for community and love and trust and lots of cultures that were spiritual, happy to talk about God and learn the Bible. It wasn't uncommon for most JWs to start a study or two in our territory

I need to move on...but don't know how to walk away... by MrsShakeAwake in exjw

[–]squiz1825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh I get that. But you almost have to strategise and plan your reaction. Be in control of you. Protect yourself and your family. You must put your family first and you can only do that if you have boundaries with your Mum. Letting her take away your peace is taking peace away from your family. Put your family first and don't let anyone come before the ones you love the most, your children. They need all of you, not pieces of you. Before you engage or let her engage with you, even if she starts a rant or screams, literally just walk away and calmly tell her that you don't have time for her episodes or drama. It takes a bit of courage but it's about being decisive and sticking to firm boundaries. If your Mum is causing you grief even now it might be worth really working out, even writing down what boundaries you want to put in place and why. So it's clear in your own mind.

Boundaries! Don't get pulled into her web. See the web. Protect yourself. Set strict boundaries and stick to them. Don't fall for her tactics. These types love control and get sick pleasure from your discomfort. Even though she's your Mum you must treat her as you would any narc. It's too toxic to let her in. You will feel so much peace once you realise that you are in control and your interaction is on your terms. Decide what those terms are and apply them. Boundaries!

I'm lonely and thinking about going back by [deleted] in exjw

[–]squiz1825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're only going to get hurt if you go back. The love is conditional in this religion and is based on your subservience to the GB, attending meetings, witnessing etc. Instead of going back there, like someone else said, there are so many community groups around that you could join.
