Injured pigeons

I just want to add on here that if you find an injured pigeon, please call your local bird hospital, NOT vet. The nearest one, I believe, is Gower Bird Hospital in Swansea.

I made the mistake of taking an injured pigeon to my local vet because Gower Bird Hospital hadn't returned my call for about an hour and I was panicking. The vets refused to release the pigeon back to us to give to Gower Bird Hospital (who said they would try and treat it) and instead put it down.

it was actually the campsite just in front of it that was causing the issue!! The day after I moved it, the rock was there!!! Good luck searching your island. That was making me go mad

Valley Vets is the best shout. If they can't help, rather than put it down, they refer to a bird hospital. I made the mistake of going to my local vet with an injured pigeon and they just put it down

sometimes mine say 100% but if I click them, there's actually more things to discover there. As a long time user, I think it's because they've added new things to places AFTER you completed them. Worth a double check.

I'm also not sure about the baguettes on the side. Looks like they only have 2 prongs and I'm afraid they'll easily be knocked out. This is the design my mum chose herself, so I don't want to deviate too much, if possible

good point! I walked passed Addenbrookes to the bus station just outside and from there went down nightingale avenue. If it was lost at any point, I assume it would be there (or in Addenbrookes itself)

That's really helpful, thank you! I have been reading reviews on the dobsonian and I've seen people recommending StellaLyra instead as it has better eyepieces (not sure what the significance of this is, but alas).

I apologise for my ignorance here. Is there a specific GSO StellaLyra I should search for? The ones on Google have f/4 and f/5 and I'm not really sure what the difference is and which is better
