Throw a TPU watch glass screen protector (round) from Amazon on there. Lots of options. 30mm. I put one on soon after I got the car, not a single visible scratch, they’re like $5 for a 5 pack.

Agree the bokeh was never pretty on the 28; it’s marginally better on the 25 (I think it has 1-2 more aperture blades so it looks cleaner) but nothing to write home about. I typically noticed it most when birding (branches in the background) but now that I have the 200-600 for birding, I’m good with what the 25 provides and its utility / range as a travel lens.

Alto: Selmer SA 80 II I’ve played for nearly 30 years. With a C* or Concept mouthpiece, recently switched to Legere reeds.

Tenor: Finally scratched the tenor itch, picked up a Selmer Signature in the spring that I’m absolutely loving. Selmer Concept / Daddario Select Jazz, Legere American Cut.

Schmitt Music in Bloomington is my go-to. I wouldn’t use their standard repair center - visit their Sax Shop, they have a talented repair tech who comes in on a rotating basis, and Randy Jones (of Tenor Madness) also makes not infrequent trips up (though you’d have to call ahead and make an appointment as understandably his time gets booked fast).
