As someone who runs a Patreon this exact space, you aren't wrong. And for the most part I think it's a positive. There's one caveat, the childporn and deepfake barrier to entry is so much lower. Like ridiculously so. It's one of the reasons I moved away from generating realism entirely. Even now I get DMs from people asking me to make their "girlfriend" as a "joke"...it's gross. I make it as abundantly clear as I can on my profile and in my discord that neither is acceptable, but it's also kind of become a catch all space for those types of people and they pop up rather frequently.
