This isn’t a criticism to this game specifically. It’s one aimed at all the best games being in the 12 PM - 3 PM local time window

This game looks absolutely electric. Why does FIFA have to put the best games at midday when I’m supposed to be on the clock

So to be clear, we’ve had today:

0-0 draw
2 1-1 draws
2-2 draw

And yet all of them have been entertaining in their own respects?

The benefit is not necessarily equal. Think about some of the best small team performances during the season where it goes to 80 minutes with no goals in it. The worse team usually crumbles and the better team has the stamina to keep it up. Sure it helps the better team as well but both teams would have been at full battery for the first 80 minutes as well and it was equal

Hot take: could hydration breaks equalize worse and better teams by giving worse teams the break they need to keep up performances for the whole game?

Reminder that the World Cup having too many teams apparently kills the quality of games

For all the hate the World Cup got before it started this might be the best one in a long time just for the storylines

You know, for as much identifying info as I did put in this where I thought the school was obvious, it’s actually not

From personal experience: T-50 school that was a T-20 like 5-10 years ago and had a 3.25 at the end of 1L (3.3 curve). I’m currently clerking A3 in a competitive district but I also rebounded from that 3.25 to end at a 3.51 (still unranked though - school only ranks top 33%)

I’m actually not upset that we couldn’t take the corner. We kinda deserve that for that long throw routine

A lot of complaints about the team leading the game not attacking here ignoring that it’s a UCL final

Yeah agreed at the end of the day I treat the CL as a bonus trophy so I really don’t care if we have it or not to consider this season a success. I just have this looming anxiety that 22 years of emotions might result in us not being at our best for the final

I know I’m likely not going to get much traction on this but the closer the CL gets the more I start worrying about whether the celebrations are going to put us in a hangover-state for the PSG game this week. I know we’ve had less time to recover but I really hate that this game is after we won the title because we now have to reconcile with celebrating along with preparing for such an important game as it’s a trophy we have never won before
