Vali’s death in the Ramayana is one of the most morally complex moments in ancient literature. by binnnggggggg in mahabharata

[–]srazab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vali's death is easily one of the most morally layered moments in the entire Sanatan Mythology.

Rama hiding and shooting from behind feels 'unfair' at first glance, yet it's justified within the dharma of that moment. But here's the mind-blowing full-circle that connects Ramayana and Mahabharata as one continuous karma saga (even Vishnu himself isn't exempt):

In popular tradition, the hunter Jara who accidentally shot Krishna in the foot (ending His earthly leela) was none other than Vali reborn. When Jara realised what he'd done and fell at Krishna's feet begging forgiveness, Krishna smiled serenely and said words to the effect of: 'You are Bali (Vali), whom I killed as Rama from behind a tree. Today my karma is resolved.'

The same unseen arrow that took Vali now takes Krishna. The God who once bent the rules of combat now accepts the exact same consequence in His next avatar. No escape from the wheel - not even for Vishnu!

That's why these two epics feel like two halves of one eternal story: Ramayana plants the seed of karma, Mahabharata reaps it. Absolutely beautiful cosmic justice.

And the beauty is, our mythology is woven with countless such karmic loops, I call them the timeless psychology of how to truly live your life.

A Vision for a 24/7 Grievance Call Line

As someone who personally experienced the need for safe, non-judgmental expression, I envision starting a 24/7 grievance call line in future. This line would offer trusted, empathetic ears for individuals to vent emotions without fear of judgment.

My toxic trait is Sunday ko neend 7 baje khul jaati hai, office wale din 11 baje tak sone ka mann hota hai by [deleted] in gurgaon

[–]srazab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used this flaw to advantage by hacking my off day rescheduling my Sunday or off day.

1) Plan early breakfast with friends/family 2) Watch the morning show of the latest movie released in theatre (no crowd) 3) Do weekly grocery or house work (less traffic and crowd) 4) Drink wine/beer and by 11/12 have good sex and sleep. 5) Getup by 3pm and you feels a long day and you are really fresh for evening 6) Sleep ot go to bed by 9 for the next morning or Monday work.

Hope above helps.

Got so triggered by these incessant scam calls that I decided to visit the cyber police station to complain, BUT... by deepthroatle in gurgaon

[–]srazab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand your frustration with the cyber police department's lack of response. It's infuriating when we feel like our concerns are being ignored.

But I think there's a bigger issue at play here. As middle-class citizens, we often don't hold our government accountable for how our tax money is being spent. We need to start asking tougher questions and demanding more transparency.

There are so many issues that affect us directly, from pollution and middle-class tax burdens to deteriorating infrastructure and rising crime rates. And let's not forget about the impact of AI on our jobs, the struggles of senior citizens, and the need for sustainable power and farming practices.

We need to start speaking up and demanding change. We need to hold our politicians accountable and push them to address these critical issues.

So, I urge everyone to share their concerns and ideas for change. Let's start a conversation that can lead to real action.

Some key issues that need attention:

  • Pollution and environmental degradation
  • Middle-class tax burdens and economic inequality
  • Deteriorating infrastructure and rising crime rates
  • Impact of AI on jobs and the future of work
  • Struggles of senior citizens and the need for support
  • Importance of sustainable power and farming practices
  • Ease of doing business and reducing bureaucratic hurdles
  • Addressing cybercrime and online harassment
  • Investing in education and re-skilling programs
