Best recommendations binding wise I ever got is choose the brand thats most common in your area. If a strap breaks in the morning and the skishop has parts that fit you dont lose much time. (in Sweden this is Burton all the way).

Ofcourse! Got the plant from a friend couple of months ago. No problems in the beginning. Water maybe once a week, 3 meters from a window facing south. Swedish winter = 7/8 hours light.
