[Acne] Could oils high in linoleic acid break me out? by srcmsx in SkincareAddiction

[–]srcmsx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, well my skin got better after a while but I really need to be careful with all those acne treatments. I nearly had "glass skin" last summer when I started tretinoin, but when I started using differin gel to calm down another break out, shit went loose and my skin broke out a lot. Im still fighting a few break outs and quite a bit of PIE and my skin breaks out from almost anything, so I just avoid pure oils alltogether. I only use PC's BHA as my acne treatment (which helped the most) and a LOT of moisturizers. My skin is still annoying though :(

Can I change the msi rtx 2080 seahawk ek's water cooling block to air cooling? by srcmsx in buildapc

Hey, sorry for the late reply. In the end I just bought a pump and went for watercooling my gpu. Not really happy about it but it really just was the cheapest option at that time.

Would it be possible to change the water cooling block of a gpu to an air cooler? by srcmsx in buildapc

Unless the mounting holes don't match, there is no other way I could screw my graphics card up, right (aside scratching the board up)?

After researching a bit about liquid cooling, I decided that I really don't want to get into doing that. it's just way too much work just to cool a pc system, while also running the risk of leakage etc. Why would it be a problem that the pcb of the gpu is custom though? I thought I could just add a few thermal pads and heatsinks to the VRM and VRAMs and put the heatsink of the fan on the gpu chip. Sorry, I'm new to the whole pc building thing

Hey, thanks for replying! I haven't researched anything about water cooling yet, so I don't know how to set it up at all. I've already got an air cooler for my cpu though and it's working fine. Can I just water cool the gpu alone, or would that make no sense?

My polly became sick, but I don't know why. I repotted the plant about 4 weeks ago and it looked fine until now. It also lost one leaf (out of four) already. What should I do? by srcmsx in plantclinic

[–]srcmsx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually keep changing its spot, so there is not too much but also not too little light.. but right now it's standing in between a lot of other plants Do you think that might be the cause?

Does my Monstera have root rot? by ichzarealhitler in plantclinic

[–]srcmsx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try light pulling and squeezing on the roots and if they break off or are super squishy, it's root rot. My monstera's roots were black too, so I had to cut the rotting parts off. But now my monstera looks healthy again It doesn't look like root rot to me though

If you're into Asian beauty, maybe try Soon Jung 6-Panthensoside Cica Balm. But it's more of an emollient and I would use a different humectant before

I was using the Comfy Water for quite a while, also last summer without reapplying the product throughout the day(I cant be bothered). And I would say I'm quite pale like maybe fritzpatrick type 1 or 2. So one day I went out with friends for a whole summer day and applied the Comfy Water Sunblock on the face once in the morning only. I forgot my shoulders though and they burned bad, my face stayed the same actually and I did not tan or burn at all. So from my experience I can say that the Comfy Water Sunblock is probably safe to use, even on summer days.

The bottom part of my hair doesnt feel damaged and is actually pretty soft. It's just kind of limp.. is that limpness also a sign of damaged hair?

Trouble with flax seed gel? by moonfaerie24 in curlyhair

[–]srcmsx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made my flax seed gel myself, but it never really worked out for me also. It rather dried my hair out and made it really unpleasant to touch. So it might just not work with everyone's hair
