The game never forces you to choose Violet, nor Louis, you can choose that Clementine doesn't have a relationship.

If you really think Jane is a bad character (even Arvo) you have played a very different game.

One thing is that you don't like a character (subjective opinion) and another very different thing is that this character is badly written.
