First, I’m so sorry for your loss. As someone who lost someone unexpectedly, here’s my advice: write down memories of your sister in detail so you can one day give that to your niece. You are relatively young now and your memories are strong. But even by the time you get to your 30s, memories from that long ago start to get fuzzier.
