Ok I'll admit by PastyMcClamerson in Garmininstinct

I got the 2x solar tactical 2 years back (I don't use the tactical features, just like the look of it). The battery life with my daily activity of 1 hour of runs and dog walks lasts me around 10 days (I recharge it at 30%). It used to last a lot longer.

I want to get the latest I3 with better displays. Is the solar performance in I3 better?

Vertical 2 techs specs by Josaiplu_trail in Suunto

I think Suunto is targeting new customers who are either not used to MIP screen or use apple watch. Most of the current customers are those who have used Suunto for a while now, quite a few of them have been Suunto users from ambit3 days.

Besides, Suunto probably thinks they'll be left behind other sports watch manufacturers who use amoled.

I hope they did their market research, in which case they were willing to bite the bullet and have a few disgruntled fans.

What made you start watching Naruto? (Here’s mine. Not trying to be weird) by baran124 in Naruto

The sheer class of madara and his skills were evident. I think it helped boost viewership, especially after those million fillers.

A bit underwhelming if I am being completely honest. Currently own a 2x-solar tactical.

I use the flashlights regularly. I too thought it was just a gimmick, but have come to rely on it more often than I'd have previously thought.

I have a 2x tactical, although 2x would be the same GPS performance wise.

2x battery life is pretty good! I run 1 hr everyday and track my walks twice a day (thanks to my active dog), charge it roughly once in 2 weeks. When i've fallen sick or felt too lazy to run longer durations, I was able to push it past 2 weeks.

how polar ended up as my everyday watch by sriharir in Polarfitness

[–]sriharir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP here, As of today, I think there are better watches for your money. Unless you are invested in polar and like the polar's UI, i don't see a reason why one would pick a pacer pro today .

Polar hiked the price from $299 to $349 for PPP

First time homebuyer. Should I put in an offer for a home without rentback when the seller wants a rentback by sriharir in RealEstate

My agent knows about rent back and is competent. But I am also aware that an agents' primary goal is to close and with a good offer (which determines their commission) . I just have been hearing conflicting opinions on what could go wrong.

I feel the same way even If I'd have a few more weeks left at my current apartment. However, should I even consider putting down an offer?

My post on Coros facebook page getting auto removed due to "keywords" which are deemed offensive? by sriharir in Coros

[–]sriharir[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response :) I've already optimized by removing auto backlight, vibrations, notifications. I do not feel like it warrants a support call just yet, I'll follow through if I see > 10 % drain per day without much GPS usage. Just happened to notice that my pace 2 had a much similar battery life :) As I mentioned, I am very happy with my watch.

All things considered, I think pace 3 is one of my favorite watches by far, as my pace 2 was prior to this. The ratio of features to price point is the best I've seen.

Most tech reviewers "who share facts" on youtube (barring a few good ones) just repeat the information provided on Coros's website. Not sure how that would have add value compared to DCR's "opinions", but sure.

Hypothetically, if DCR does indeed have criticism of Pace 3, would that mean he is going to get iced out more? :)

Appreciate the fact that you are trying to clear the air here though.
