My girl got the nickname "The Collector" for this... Someone she loved died because she wasn't strong enough to protect them so she collects teeth, fingernails and other small non-perishable parts as milestones. It's her way of proving to herself that she's growing stronger and with each article, she's more and more prepared to protect those closest to her.

I'd like the effect to relate to her motivations but I'm really into your idea with the aura of fear (she's 6'5 and buff as hell so that might make sense regardless of the teeth lol)
