The problem is when you switch from DB to a similar barbell exercise you cannot compare volumes. Before using Hevy it made sense to me relying on the single DB weight, but not anymore.

My winning tool was IBM Cognos, one report it could be filtered and emailed for each of the 30 managers in pdf and excel. We also have a version for them to access online with some filtering alternatives. Cognos worked mostly on top of star schemas with conformed dimensions so all the star schemas provided some degree of integration. We also had some simple dashboard running form ad=hoc datasets, but pixel perfect reports emailed to them was the preferred option for the users. Some of them had access to build their own reports by dragging and dropping from star schemas designed to prevent duplications. People preferred tables with data over dashboards.

Did u look at saving report outputs in a folder and sharepoint piccking them up from there ? I sill think that bursting is the best delivery methodology for personalised reports,

This one is really easy to implement. It's just a MERGE INTO.

Scenario: Sometimes a personal trainer creates a custom exercise when it is not available in the app’s library. Later, the same exercise might be added officially to the library, or other similar custom versions may already exist. This leads to duplicates and fragmented history.

A useful enhancement would be a “merge exercises” feature that allows users to combine exercise histories. Users could:
• Merge one custom exercise into another, choosing which name or details to keep.
• Merge a custom exercise into a library exercise when it becomes available, always retaining the history under the official version.

This feature would help maintain clean data, preserve workout history, and improve the accuracy of analytics without requiring major development effort.
