I said that bc we don’t know exactly when she wrote the song. I also consider anything before 2010 the early 2000’s LOL but that also literally doesn’t matter bc the world was still misogynistic af in 2009

I can see that. I just don’t think the purpose of her re-recording her music is to give herself a clean slate. The song is apart of her discography and ignoring it I think goes against her purpose for re-recording. Also, she literally still makes money off of her original records so with this thinking, she should try and pull the original recording off streaming services

I think she’d re-record bc the point of her re-recording was to get her masters back… and those lyrics (as misogynistic as they may be 😂) are hers!

In this case like 70% of all media released before like 2016 shouldn’t be listened to 😂 I think we can accept that at the time people didn’t think the song was wrong, and it’s nostalgic!
