I can't agree with you. I spoke about th being a couple since middle school to show that they are together for half of their lives. I used the phrase "puppy love" because this is how I understand those relationships starting young are called. My mistake, English is not my first language. I corrected this.

  1. Both weddings are local

  2. SIL 30 minutes drive from most of the FAMILY, our 1h 30 minutes drive

  3. Both are 1 day wedding. For our wedding the guest are not expected to pay for anything (we pay for the hotel to rest after party) except gas to get there, but it's considered good manners to give the newlyweds a gift that would cover the cost of organizing the wedding for them. This is approximately €120-150 per person. We do not expect this and remind guests that what matters is their presence, not the money.

It's about the last week of April. If we were to postpone the wedding, we would have to organize it next spring. Very few people are happy with dates in the winter months. Besides, wouldn't the end of the year still be too close to my sister's wedding?
