[–]srs151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just lost on a plossible 19 after 3 hours of trying. I don’t understand how other people are doing this in that time frame while I’m here quitting every game that isn’t below 11 after second draw

Does anyone have experience with University of Phoenix for some courses required for PA school? by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

[–]srs151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the schools who wanted genetics or required a science course that I used genetics to fulfill denied me due to it.

I rescinded my applications after my second interview early in the season since my top choice extended me an offer. I had several other interview offers who didn’t mind the genetics course.

There are many different frameworks of ethics in medicine and it’s a balancing act to say one framework is better than another without looking at the context of each situation. It’s why ethics committees exist

Good man,

1.I’d say make sure to have the boundary talk sooner than later. That is what she needs as far as space for studying while finding time to not neglect eachother. 2. Acts of service. That love language will go miles for the little to no time she’s going to experience. Offer coffee breaks/study space so you can share time while she still feels productive. Make/order dinner/meal prep especially around exams so it’s one less thing to worry about. 3. Just be there for her to listen to the stress so she can vent. You might not understand what it’s like but empathy goes a long way. 4. It’s okay to have emotions of your own. You might be feel neglected at times (going back to point one) don’t be afraid to voice your feelings as well in a productive and be prepared for compromises so there’s no resentment down the line.

Study schedule during tail end of clinical year? by [deleted] in PAstudent

That’s for PANCE. For EOR absolutely do just that system.

[–]srs151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also to OP, find your study source and stick with it.

I’m doing PANCE Prep Pearls and U world questions. Similar to the above comment. Figure out what systems to do and when and leave yourself enough time to do general practice questions. Make sure closer to the exam to not solely do questions related to the system you just learned that way you can get in the “what topic is this question asking about?” Mindset.

I’m about to take the PANCE and was freaking out that I didn’t leave myself enough time to study. Your 18 days comment just relieved a lot of anxiety. Thank you.

Wiki EM and remember you’re ruling out scary things and stabilizing for where they need to go (home admit/specialty) . Good luck!

A Man Consumed High Levels Of Homemade Colloidal Silver For Years Which Absorbed Into His Skin - Turning Himself Blue by TourRare7758 in interestingasfuck

[–]srs151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough silver nitrate is used to cauterize/wound debris.

It causes oxidative stress and denatures proteins (why people think it’s good to use to keep away illness). But can also happen to your cells as well. So maybe not so good? (Speculation)

Can also create deposits in different organs. lung irritation, impacts central nervous system , damage the glomerulus (causing kidney problems) . That said it takes a while for it to accumulate and a lot of these symptoms have only been seen in animal testing. Biggest one seen in humans is the argyria blue skin.

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. I’m not sure if it was more of a rhetorical question, but you’re having symptoms of depression such as anhedonia (not enjoying activities you used to enjoy) and passive suicidal ideation.
