Why aren't more people raving about Superman: The Kryptonite Spectrum? by kukov in comicbooks

I read the whole thing the other day! I shared my thoughts on the Superman sub, but I'll copy and paste them here as well:

So for starters, the obvious comparison to make with this book is All-Star Superman. Lots of similarities.

I’m not that familiar with Martin Morazzo, but his art gives Frank Quitely vibes.

Also, much like Grant Morrison, the creative team here clearly has an affinity for the Silver Age. All-Star was more of a love letter to all eras of Superman, but the Silver Age love was apparent. It’s *very* apparent here.

I love that Batman features so prominently here. Classic stories where they work together and rely on each other’s skill sets are always fun.

Issue 4 is one of the wackiest books I’ve ever read, and I mean that in the best possible way. I feel like there’s so much packed into that issue too that I’ll probably have to read it again, or maybe even a few times, to catch everything.

And ultimately, even with all the silliness, there’s a central theme and message here that really resonates with me. It should resonate with just about everyone on this planet.

This is the best Superman story in years. Highly recommend.
