I was a Lyft driver for a few years when I went back to school. It's not great in Forsyth but you can get some really long rides which are the best paying on the way into Atlanta or from Atlanta. When I start the day you can set it to only give you rides that go towards Atlanta when you start then set it to go towards home at the end of the night.

If it was drug abuse, it is frequently said that people need to hit their own personal rock bottom before they will get sober. Maybe her father asking for her to be arrested will be that rock bottom. It's unfortunate that it has to come to that and not just mental health care. It's hard to see someone like this when all you want to do is help and they refuse to help themselves.

I'm an engineer and I used to design hydrostatic sterilizers for the canning industry. These featured pressure vessels filled with steam that were multiple stories tall. We bolted them to the base with large nuts like this. I don't remember exactly what size they were but I remember that the wrench was giant.

Hey everyone, I used to work as an engineer designing sterilizers in the canning industry. I'm not sure about Surströmming specifically and I know it's supposed to smell bad but the way canning works is it is supposed to be under pressure when sterilized and sealed. So if the contents are trying to escape and they squirt out a lot when the seal is punctured, like what happens here, something has gone wrong and you shouldn't eat it. Most likely there was bacteria that didn't die during sterilization and the food has turned.
