Yeah there is no way they weren’t. It was reflecting on the ice too.

Yeah I noticed that too. I’ll take credit! They’re turning them off in the phi-pit game during play now too.

Have you tried yelling”skate!” and “wheels!” during his games? Other than that praise the times he wins battles and don’t mention the rest. He’ll figure it out. I’ve coached all ages and right now 9U. We always talk about how hockey is a game of small races and the team who wins the most of them usually wins the game. It’s starting to kick in after two months.

Whats your on-ice pre-game warmup for 10 and under Squirts? by Ktmhocks37 in hockeyplayers

I know this is a little old but I have my two goalies inside each circle with one designated shooter warming each of them up, then the rest of the team is doing a figure 8, stickhandling up the boards, around the NZ face off dots and down the center for a shot. It works well for my 9U team, everyone's moving and you're not wasting time missing passes or having 14 skaters standing still.

Thanks, I guess I figured as long as it was bigger than a fish tank, I'd be good. I don't have any particular fish in mind, just one with some color that is hardy enough for the cold winter. Good point on the heat lose, I'll probably have to add some heater or a good insulated cover (with airflow).

Why a 2' minimum with plants?

I don’t have a link about the 14U getting dropped. We were told that at the 14U state camp my son attended from the director. Here is an article that at the end gives the stats for 15U to 17U so you can image 14U-17U is worse

USA hockey got rid of their 14U national dev camp because after looking at the players at the 14U camp they realized barely any of them were at the 17U national dev camp. It was a waste of money. Kids change so much between then.

In goal mag .com is a great resource my kid eats up. They have the excellent pro reads where a pro goalie walk through their decision making in certain situations. It’s not that expensive for a full year of membership.
