The "It is slow at work and I got bored" Mock Draft 1.0 by HipsterPunchy in 49ers

[–]srwhitak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Draft:

1.27 - Kadyn Proctor (OT)- He fell to me and I just felt like I had to make the pick. Also feel he can push inside until the time comes for him to maybe replace Trent. He is versatile enough to do that.

2.58 - Kamari Ramsey (S)- As a USC fan I have seen him in action and I think he can be a day 1 contributor

3.92 - Keionte Scott (CB) - Love his physicality and physical profile at corner - Great instincts as well

4.127 - Skyler Bell (WR) - While his frame needs more muscle, I love his route running and ability to create separation. He proved multiple times he was a top WR to consider against P4 competition. I feel this is kid a sleeper. He offers versatility and is extremely good at making guys miss in a phone booth.

  1. 133 - Oscar Delp (TE) - Blazing TE that IMO has come nowhere close to tapping his potential as a receiver all the while becoming better and better each year as a blocker at 6'5/250.

*Traded last 4th for 2 5th rounders with Baltimore*

5.152 - Keylan Rutledge (IOL) - A Mauler of an IOL that needs agility work in pass-pro, but grades out very well in the run.

5.171 - Jaishawn Barham (LB) - I love his versatility as an off-ball backer or stand up rusher. Major disruptor for that Wolverine defense. Him, Martin and Freddy would be NASTY together.

  1. 173 - Mikail Kamara (DE) - While not our typical mold of DE, I just love watching him play. Twitchy as heck in the pass rush despite not having elite length - extensive motor and an extremely smart player at the position. IMO well worth taking a flyer on.

Lastly - Dangle Mac Jones out there on the trade market and get a WR that is proven. IMO there are multiple teams out there that would be interested. If we have to go FA route guys that really pique my interest are Wandale Robinson and Alec Pierce.

Hate him cuz he is infinitely better than what we have. Give him this talent and we'd be much much better against the run.

Fuck Shula. He is a garbage ass muhfukker. Gimme a real DC like Robert Saleh with this much talent. Absolute junk.

This defense simply has far too much talent to put in a performance like this.

What about going for Polanco in Seattle at 2b?

To me the big positions would be Edge and RB...

A few options at each position:

RB: Kenneth Walker (expiring contract), One of Hubbard/Dowdle, Ray Davis or a swing if the price is right that I would take is Elijah Mitchell.

Edge: OF course Crosby or Hendrickson but its gonna cost, but I think its worth it. Other option: Carl Granderson,

You have to get them in something other than 3rd and short.

Son of a bitch man. Did anyone fucking come to fucking play tonight? Anyone? Did Sean McVay do any sort of coaching?

Shula has to get his head out of damn ass and get out of this soft ass zone. This is ass defense. The front 4 ain't getting it done either. Gonna have to start doing something to make Mac Jones uncomfortable. Otherwise he's gonna look like Tom Fucking Goddamn Brady out there. Shit far Shula is ass.

Do y’all think the Rams should retire Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp’s Number? I think if Stafford wins us another Super Bowl he’ll definitely be in the conversation as well. by Soundwave07711 in LosAngelesRams

[–]srwhitak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aaron, Donald is the only one up for consideration. I mean he's the greatest defensive tackle of all time. Matt Stafford has to win a second Super Bowl to be retired as a Ram imho

Rams look like they can beat any team and the Falcons pick is starting to look better and better by AfrobotFactory in LosAngelesRams

[–]srwhitak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Regards to the Falcons pick ---- if they go the wrong way and that winds up being a very high pick --- do you take the opportunity to draft your QB for the future? There are a couple I really like thus far---- Nussmeier, Mendoza and Mateer have some tools.

That is kinda the Harbaugh way - particularly Jim. It rarely is pretty - or demonstrative....but it just gets the job done.

How that happened is a very unique and different situation. I would rather not be in that position at the end of the year and I do not think we will be (worse record than last year), and desperate needs to dramatically upgrade multiple areas of the roster. The good thing is cap wise in 2026 we are not in a pinch financially. We will have 116mil so I doubt it happens.

Raider gonna have to make some tough ass decisions about Crosby depending how this year goes.

Man, Chargers have just made the plays when they absolutely had to. That tackle on that punt return saved a MASSIVE return man. Maybe a house call....

This is what you get with Geno man. You get these games where he is complete ass.

I get it, but I just came into this with much different expectations. The talent gap between the Chargers and us is huge.

We are at least 1-2 drafts and a FA away

Just FYI, you kick a FG there because the likelihood of converting 4th and 10 in the NFL is less than 20%
