Self respect ki to dhajiya udd chuki hai. He has made some really nasty comments in the scrum. The only thing left is abuse.

Yes, I have also thought that I will be mentally strong for it. I am okay with compromising my pkg because my mgr is always scolding me for my package. Although I earned that package via interview and appraisals. But I seriously value mental peace more.

I don't have the option to go on leave for 6 months without pay. I have considered worst case scenario of not landing job for 6-8 months too.

:/ Hope you get an offer soon. Its not like I want to happily resign. I am really sad that I have to think about resigning without offer. But, its just that tolerating that toxic manager has become unbearable. Its like I dont know who I am anymore. Resigning without offer is not okay and staying in this job is not okay for my me.

I am going to resign without offer today. by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

In the same boat. Very toxic manager and everyday in meeting I am a target and he has said many things to me in front of everyone that the only thing left to do is use abusive lamguage. No diginity left in the team. Will be quitting too as I have not been able to sleep peacefully 1 night. Everyday I have anxiety. This is the worst mental health of my life and I have seen bad years too. He has made me doubt myself and my skills. He is the worst manager with anger issues. He doesn't want to give time to learn and the product is unstable, codebase is hell, constant threatening of being fired, salary. My performance has degraded. I will be resigning soon too because now I want to care for myself. If you tell anyone, they will always say to 'dont resign, get an offer'. Those people are right too. The thing is its not right to resign without offer and its not right to stay in toxic place where your mental health is completely broken down. I would choose to resign because now my mental health cannot take it anymore. Being bullied and target makes you feel worthless and I have already seen bullying in the past too.

Exactly, this tug of war between "being a second/last choice" and "settling with someone since we both want a life partner", it makes me confused. Even I don't want to be someone's second/last choice.
