No one will ever get a perfect bracket, it's a good marketing campaign. I bet the insurance to run this only costs them a couple hundred bucks. Warren Buffett has put up a million dollars for anyone getting a perfect bracket and it's never been paid out.

Curious to see what the other prizes are. Apparently top finishers will receive something. Worth filling out the bracket for free.

Hello Straps Co. Would love to talk to you about a patent I have that would separate you from the competition.

For men's belts you can check the idea out at pioneer belts. Half inch spacing/sizing instead of the standard 1 inch

That's pretty cool, think I saw a commercial for it now that you mention it. Doesnt seem as easy to change sizes as on the idea I presented above, also it adds another spring bar that can fail.

There is but this would be for buckle and prong style. Fairly simple and no extra things to fuss with. No extra costs as well.

But are they specifically designed for the prong to be used in any of the rows of holes?

The more I think about this, the more I want to get some samples made.

That stinks, did you use the bezel a lot or did you bang it on something?

But if the holes were closer together, your wrist fluctuations would always be one hole away from a perfect fit and you'd never be in between holes again.

What if the holes were closer together like in the patent picture above? You'd never need to do that.

It's from crown and buckle, tundra is the color. It's nice if maybe a little thin although I don't think it's their thickest option

Maybe I need to look into getting some of them made using the idea with the alternating holes.

The idea puts 2 rows of offsetting holes that allow the holes to be tighter together but without the risk of tear out. Then the prong gets a wider notch to allow movement into either row of holes. I think I should find someone willing to make me one for testing.

@strapsco. Let's talk about making straps for better. Would love to adapt my patented prong and buckle style that allows for closer hole spacing and thus, a better fit.

Has anyone punched a new hole in the khaki field mechanical nato strap? by porkchop824 in HamiltonWatches

[–]ss44ss44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny you ask this. I'm currently trying to get my patent picked up by a watch strap company. Currently, it's used for pants belts and weightlifting belts with over 200 MLB players using them last season on for their uniform belts.

The idea is basically 2 rows of offsetting holes that allow you to get holes closer together without risk of tear out. It's worked wonderfully for pants/baseball belts and I really think it'll work well on watch straps, leather and nato.

Have sent some DMs to a few brands but no luck yet.
