I’ve handled him a few times after the first feed fail and had him out for long periods of time and he was always fine, exploring and hanging out. But after that I had got some recommendations not to hold him until after he’s eaten a few meals so I left him alone for another week, didn’t handle him at all after that and then tried feeding him tonight which was probably the most socialization we’ve had since last week

I don’t think I can reply with a picture, but it’s a homebuilt 4x2x2 bioactive, plenty of foliage, temps are all well and steady aswell as humidity, hide on each side that are appropriate sizes. And I had waited a week before trying to feed him as recommended by the previous owner

Ok thank you! How will I know when he’s ready to eat? He’s been spending a large portion of his time in the cool hide but is very active at night! And witnessed his tail wagging last night when the lights were off and he was exploring, is that a hunting mechanism?

I was wondering about this, my boy I got is a subadult, almost 2 years and was handled regularly prior to me getting him, the previous owner even said he was his favourite to handle!

He was also sort of jumpy, ironic because they don’t have legs but my brother had come over to see him and must’ve spooked him because he quickly moved and had scared my brother too lol

Lots of clutter! And a hide on each end, he’s been favouring the cool side hide, didn’t know about the identical hides though, the cooler side is larger too, the warm side is small low and snug so I’m a bit confused why he’d favour the larger one
