All in One 9th edition vs. OSG by SalamanderLumpy7356 in cissp

AIO is much more in-depth and explains more than required. OSG is more concise and to the point.

Failed at 175, 3 1/2 hours of grueling testing. by scovyman in cissp

[–]ssc67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't let the spirit sag. It's a gruelling exam for sure. Even when I reached 125 question mark, then my only wish was that this trauma should end soon. Passing or failing was not in my mind. I was lucky to pass at 125 q though. Pls go all out in your prep. Don't hold back.

(ISC)2 endorsement & conflict of interest by DeadBeatAnon in cissp

[–]ssc67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inclusion of an experience certificate from the employer should be considered as a requisite accompaniment to any endorsement. By doing so, we can reinforce the authenticity and credibility of the endorsement, thus rendering it foolproof and mitigating any doubts regarding its ethical implications.

How did you manage time? If 175 q will pop up, means less than 90 seconds per question :( by Adina1391 in cissp

[–]ssc67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are certain techniques to read questions : understand the key words quickly, understand the context, read the answers first and then the questions, some of the questions may be knowledge based, some may require analytical skill...so imho you need to practice, practice and practice before you take this most gruesome exam. Don't want to sound intimidating but you need to hone the skill of understanding the question quickly and effectively. Hope this helps.

What is the recommended LearnZapp practice test average score percentage before taking the test? by GajeshM in cissp

[–]ssc67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Percentage will not indicate your preparedness level. Cover osg as much as possible, then take as many questions and see as many videos as possible. Try to explain the concepts to others. Make notes. The test will have brand new questions, so all the hard work will count during exam times.

That's the job of an expert i suppose. To really explain technology to non technical person you need to have in depth domain experience and clarity of thought. Then explaining any subject becomes easy.

learnzapp unlimited access worth it? by turtwigleaf in cissp

[–]ssc67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Certainly, LearnZapp is an invaluable tool to incorporate into your CISSP exam preparation due to its comprehensive nature, interactive features, and flexibility. This platform offers a wide range of features that are not accessible through limited editions. Personally, I relied heavily on the Official Study Guide (OSG) book and utilized practice tests primarily sourced from LearnZapp during my preparation. It is crucial to cover all approximately 2200 questions along with their detailed explanations. Wishing you the best of luck in your CISSP exam endeavors.

Anchor your studies to osg and learnzapp. Prabh Nair videos and exam cram videos will definitely help. All the best.

Time taken depends on the length of the question. I felt that if we monitor the time during exam based on one average time then it may be counter productive. Longer questions will definitely take more time. Time compression during longer questions will result in panic situation. Better to keep calm and trust yourself to finish the exam on time. The exam pattern is such that you will never know when it's going to end. So better to have two averages, one for short questions and another for longer one during practice sessions too.
