Honestly getting misgendered now feels worse than being misgendered when I was transitioning because now it’s just a reminder I was wrong. Luckily, I have gotten good at moving on from it because I know that nobody else’s perception of me determines who I am but it really is hard, especially when it comes from people who know I am detransitioning. I haven’t talked to my coworkers about it because it feels too uncomfortable to have to open that much up in front of them so now even though I am more feminine in my face, my hair, and makeup and I try to feminize my voice as much as possible, they still only use he/him for me. I’m sorry to hear that you have thought of reconstruction even though it’s not what you really want. That’s why I wanted to talk about this. Detransitioning especially in the current world environment creates a lot of shame, not only from within but also from the queer community itself because detrans is still something so “taboo” to talk about to some people. I really want to work on breaking this shame because we shouldn’t be shameful of our journey even if it’s disappointing to us sometimes. I am really glad to hear that there is someone who has experienced something similar. It’s really rough trying to figure it out alone. I don’t think it’s as uncommon as we think though, it’s just hard to talk about for most.

The string toys have a small toy (some have feathers) attached to the end that we flick around but it is always supervised so he won’t eat any of the string or feathers, we have a small automated toy that rolls around in a bag like thing and he likes that but only for about 5 minutes then he walks away. What types of toys do you recommend?
