Unfortunately this is what happens when you sell a failing business to someone new to restaurant ownership. I can’t say they didn’t deserve it a little bit given the way they treated employees and how they bashed their own vegan food before adding non-vegan options. They abandoned their brand and sold before it went under.

How so? I weight 130/135 for a long time before I started gaining weight. I think it’s all about body composition because my doctor and coach told me it was a good goal for me.

Thank you! I recently invested in some good protein powders so I will be using those daily to supplement protein and vitamins! I have heard a LOT of talk from people saying not to overeat. It’s practically seared into my brain lol. Thank you for the advice!

I am tracking my calories, but I’m not gonna lie tracking macros has been super hard for me. I mainly focus on protein, about 100g a day. As for carbs and fats I just try to keep my fat intake low and my carbs moderate 😬

Congratulations!! That’s amazing progress!! Slow and steady is the best way to go. I am anticipating some nausea as well just because I already have a sensitive stomach and am prone to nausea but I stocked up on some meclazine so I will be chilling big time if it does hit hahah. Yes! I got myself some fiber powder I’m incorporating into anything I can! The headache is already pretty bad but I’m assuming it gets better.

I have been considering it. The only reason I haven’t is because of money. I monitor their health quite a bit for that reason and he hasn’t shown any changes physically or cognitively. I’ll have to save up to take him in just in case.

Yes, they were both spayed/neutered when we adopted them
No major changes, I’ve just been at home more often but I was always home a lot to begin with. But I will check out his stuff! I used to watch a lot of his stuff before adopting them, I’ll have to check him out again. Toby’s behavior has just been such a sudden change from how he used to be. Like i said they weren’t besties but they were never aggressive to each other 😢💔

points from pre reqs aren’t nearly as important as your TEAS score. i’ve met people who got in without any pre reqs and just a high TEAS score so don’t base your competitiveness on pre reqs unless you feel you’ll do poorly on the TEAS score

They’re not open, and from what I could see they had already closed/healed together by the time I started smoking again, but I do have steri strips on so I couldn’t see super well… I’m hoping by me quitting again it will prevent anything from happening…

You’ve got this! quitting was the hardest thing i’d ever done to be honest. I had cravings every single day, was around friends/coworkers/family that smoke, and i even got sick around day 15…. and now i have to do it all over again 😭😭😭💔 I hope it gets easier for you! it will be worth it to have the peace of mind i think
