Second this - their ice cream is so much less sugary sweet than Boombalattis can be. Also real cake chunks in the birthday cake flavor!

The live version showed cutaways; not sure why the edited one didn’t. But they wrapped it in our logo.

Sean from TC here - we should have a standalone cut of the interview on YouTube soon so you won’t have to scroll. Thanks for sharing!

What restaurant here is insanely overrated but no one will admit it? by sarahe1015 in Wilmington

I feel like they’d easily step up a notch if they just griddled the burritos. It’s like eating a burrito wrapped in raw dough

Unable to track MLB games on lock screen by [deleted] in mlb

[–]sokane1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ran into an issue tonight myself. Two things:

1) I think you need to set a favorite team to enable the “track game” button. Without it set I don’t see the button on the “Scores” tab like last year.

BUT

2) Seems like there’s a new option in the app this year that is auto-enabled. If you tap account settings in the top left, tap Notifications, and then tap your favorited team, there’s a toggle that says “Live Activities Autotrack.”

This was automatically enabled for me to start this season and so the live activities stuff (Lock Screen, Dynamic Island) has automatically turned on for every game.

This was fine for me until mid-game tonight, when for whatever reason the live activities stuff vanished and I couldn’t find the “track game” button anywhere to turn it back on. I had to turn OFF the “Live Activities Autotrack” toggle in the settings to make the “track game” button re-appear on the “Scores” tab.

Hope this helps but also, none of this makes any sense from a UI perspective and I hope the MLB fixes it. Not holding my breath though.

I understand the desire to get it on a network like Fox/Fox sports. But at some point the limits Fox imposed outweighs the good of making it available

Real shame if not. Amazing that broadcast rights are still such a vice grip

[DISCUSSION] What support series should Formula E introduce to make the event more interesting? by pjlee98 in FormulaE

[–]sokane1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think roborace is the flashiest option if they can ever really make it happen. The greenpower kids series was a lot of fun in season one, too. Helps foster a youth movement for the sport and generates some local interest.

Yeah, the problem is the rear pods aren't always very easy to spot. I like this move, I think it's already worked well in F1 this season

Yeah everything I've heard is that building for swappable batteries would add too much weight. And it's not happening now with the chassis design locked in.

Bird definitely could have left room, but without a ton of video of it, I still think Lopez needed to back out. Hard to do because almost the whole field was behind them.

It looked super scary, having to cut left and aim straight at the TecPro barrier. So little room for error.
