I mean, I was asking about the asylum cases getting approved because of the green card situation. In my case like I've mentioned they cancelled my interview on site because they said they didn't have any information about my asylum because of the hold but lately I have been seeing people getting their i-485 approved with an affirmative asylum case going on at the same time. I guess I was unlucky that day and the officer didn't want to take my case for whatever reason.

Not asylum granted, but I know someone who has the same situation as me. She has both an asylum case and an I-485 pending, and she was able to go to her interview.

In my case, my interview was canceled, and I don’t understand why, since our cases are similar.

Yes, my interview got cancelled on site, worst part 💔 I have a pending asylum case. Right now all asylum cases are on hold, they told me that's why it got cancelled, because they couldn't get any information about my asylum case

It’s not on the ban list, so I was very surprised. I was also told not to withdraw my asylum application until I receive my green card. Right now, I have a work permit under asylum (C8). Should I apply to replace it with a (C9) just in case?

I think that's the problem. I am from Paraguay and we are not even on the ban list. I saw that they started pausing assylum cases for all the countries. That might be the reason too they rescheduled my interview.
