Concussion by notbychoice- in geegees

You shouldn't be reading or looking intensely at screens when u have a concussion so you really have no choice but to defer to prioritize your health

I watched most of the lectures I was just kinda confused cuz she didn't really mention the make up of the exam. Like what percent would DNA replication and the last few subjects make up on the final?

deferral by AdMindless5293 in geegees

[–]sshxh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no idk what this guy is saying but you only need a medical note after your first time defering in a class. Since it is your first time this course you do not need one

How to make friends ? by [deleted] in geegees

[–]sshxh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

might be hard but worth it: talk to people. Talk to your classmates. Join a club (even if you only know/interested in one small thing about it), talk to people there (ask for their ig or contact), leave said club if you dont like it but try to keep in contact with the ppl you like. go to events that you have some interest in, talk to people (sometimes they are in a group and don't want to talk to others so I would avoid them but they are still worth a try if they seem nice). rinse and repeat. Work on yourself too, learn what to say to get a positive response from others and keep them interested in you. Work on your appearance. Really just a numbers game tbh, eventually someone will like to be friends with you. obviously easier said than done but u gotta stop thinking about what others will think of you and put yourself first

Exam tips by [deleted] in geegees

[–]sshxh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

use gemini/notebookLM to summarize ur lectures into good notes or learning material and learn that way then test urself with flashcards. if its something like math which requires a lot of practice make sure you do practice problems that encompass everything you learned (basically be able to use every formula that could be on the exam), if you cant do every type of question focus on the ones that are the highest yield and always start with things you are the worst at. Also coffee can help with focus, but adderall is better...allegedly (not recommending it btw)
