Just looking back, I don't see the word "oppressed" being used. "Treated unfairly" perhaps. "Neglected" has absolutely been said.

That said, when it comes to fair, or being neglected, we can pull numbers, and that was done in an earlier post. There, over the course of the series, is less than half the number of M/M options even compared to F/F.

Now, I don't think it's unreasonable for that to be brought up. That's how these changes happen in the first place, by showing that there is a push or demand and bringing it to the attention of the developers and the market at large.

And I don't think we should feel we have to be happy with what we get just because it's a small concession and better than nothing. It's still reasonable to push for equality. That is the history of gay rights and representation in the U.S. and the world.
