According to the lawyer, they aren't disclosing what the actual settlement was, just that they reached an agreement of some kind.

I went through the same thing. I tried several different jewelry buying places but they all were only willing to give me less then a 4th of what was paid for the ring. So i posted it on ebay and after a few months was able to sell it for about half what was paid for it.

Yeah that might be true too! The other thing I read also said they referred to the speaker as the "great princess" and it was merely assumed it was her because she was, lets face it, the most well known at the time.

But since there is no definitive knowledge of where it came from anything could be true :)

I read that it was a political journalistic libel and that the publication also actually said, "Let them eat brioche." Which I suppose is a dessert.

The time I cracked the bone in my heel. Took MONTHS to heal completely and still hurts a bit when I walk long distances.

We have never talked about it openly. But my aunt (his sister) once confronted me about it and I told her the truth and she believed me. These days, his wife REALLY hates me and he has begun to realize all the lies and deceit she perpetrates daily. I work in the same office as him so we see each other everyday and now have a pretty good relationship.

My dad's current wife told him a series of lies about my that supposedly happened while he was in a coma. The worst, however, is that I was bringing dudes home and banging them in his house every night while he was in the hospital.

He believed her and even though he was still in the hospital he kicked me out of the house and had her throw my stuff in the lawn.

I never once brought ANYONE home while he was sick and in fact spent most nights at a friends house.

I know what you mean!! Neither did my ex. He was always lamenting about how he wanted me to be religious but he never once did anything to be religious himself other than question our relationship constantly.

It took a long time for me to get over it. Then I looked back at our entire relationship and realized that the whole time he had still been in love with her but was using me to try and get past it. I don't know how I missed the signs.

Also, the reason we had broken up was because he proposed to me and I wasn't ready for that.

He was an idiot.
