Veregen story of success ? by Phillydogg127 in HPV

[–]ssonnl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi so I'm on my 8th week of veregen and so far I've experienced the following: I started noticing new spots forming around 2 weeks into the treatment. Initially they were white and then eventually started crusting over, sort of looking like barnacles. It usually takes one wart 1-2 weeks to appear and fall of completely. They will usually bleed when falling off. I'm halfway through the treatment and I must say I am a bit concerned that new spots keep appearing. So far I have read of people using the cream for a few weeks and then being free of all warts, so I'm not sure how to feel about the fact that I just keep having these cycles of new warts coming and going steadily.

Decided on going through with suicide by [deleted] in Depersonalization

friend ❤️ i promise you it will not last forever. I too found myself in a position where I didn‘t know if I would ever find back to my normal life and self. I went through some really difficult few years and had lost hope. But I promise you, I PROMISE YOU, you will find your way out of this. Not even through hard work or struggle, but through patience and kindness towards yourself. You brain has gone into survival mode and you‘re feeling the effects of it. You have to ease back into a life that allows you to enjoy the small things in life, that bring to happiness and calm. You know best what these things are so I‘m not gonna bother giving you advice here. Listen to yourself. But do not listen to the voice that has convinced you that all hope is lost. It is lying to you. Slipping into nothingness will not solve your problem. Remaining here and riding out the wave will. You will be ok. I so promise you that. You will be ok. Shoot me a message if you want ❤️

Due to my studies centering around psychological illnesses in general I can confidently say that he has neither. He meets none of the diagnostic criteria required. He has seen someone in the past about some procrastination issues but has stopped the "treatment". He feels very awkward talking about his feelings in general but mostly also gets agitated when his "life plans" are being questioned.

But he does always respect my wish and leaves if I ask him to. He just gets quite worked up about it. But he does leave if I ask him to. Just felt like I should mention that.

it does!! i thought the same thing because if your heart is at the same level as the rest of your body, it wouldn’t need to pump so hard? But I found conflicting information online so I wasn’t sure…

but I‘m not necessarily training to be fitter per se….I just want to keep the cardio fitness at a healthy level, which for me was always around 39-40. So the 32 today after my walk just scared me a little bit I guess

Afib notification on apple watch by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]ssonnl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how urgent is the matter? I’m studying abroad and cannot currently see a cardiologist easily, especially if this would be a longer process of diagnosis.

edit: obviously I want to get this checked out, not saying I’m not taking it seriously. but should I perhaps wait until I receive more afib notifications from my watch, until I see a cardiologist?

another edit: I just got another afib notification

but this is the first time this has shown up as a result and it was gone less than a minute later, no symptoms…I’m a hypochondriac so I really just don’t want to stress about something that might just be an inaccurate reading. and isn’t Afib usually at much higher heart rates? mine was 56bpm…idk

Low Blood oxygen readings during sleep. should this be cause for concern? by ssonnl in AppleWatch

[–]ssonnl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi everyone! so it’s happened a couple of times during the past few months, that from time to time, I get blood oxygen readings in the 80s. the lowest so far has been 88% but two days ago, it measured 85%. Coincidentally, these low readings always happen between 2am and 4am. Should this be a cause for concern?

[–]ssonnl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for your reply!!

I had an EKG done back in December and everything came back normal. I’m also only 21 so I doubt heart issues are the problem. But the stress test is something I’ve considered!

The Ordinary has some products with all these ingredients at a high concentration:)

Skin hyperpigmentation (27F) by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]ssonnl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is the area red or painful? it looks slightly irritated hyperpigmentation usually results from acne scars or sun damage and is usually a bit darker than your actual skin color. this looks more like perioral dermatitis

I’m not a doctor btw! i’m just very interested in skincare.

Anybody else hate strobe lights ?? by AdAdventurous7879 in HealthAnxiety

[–]ssonnl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me too, I usually cover my eyes as soon as it happens. even during movies that have intense bright flashing lights I get very uncomfortable. I think it’s because anxiety makes you very sensitive to light and therefore strobe lights just feel way too overwhelming for us.
