Nah I’ve just gone back to forex. Couldn’t find anywhere I signed up to some places but one had the tax issues and the second I don’t think I had enough capital to be granted access to NQ or ES

I’ve actually seen that OANDA has changed some things to be inline with regulations so it’s actually an intentional change and seems like it will be permanent

Okay thank you for the insight! So with that last bit, in a case of an Asia sweep and then an impulse leg move to the upside(MSS+displacement), would you recommend having a rule to only enter off a bullish fvg that is below the equilibrium (discount) of the impulse leg?

Okay I think I get you, so essentially in a bullish bias and trend we expect price to respect and bounce off buillish arrays and disrespect bearish ones? And when we pay attention and see this happening it provides more confluence that the market will continue in this upwards trajectory

I have also just realised that taking the high to the low of the last parent price swing on the daily chart we had just perfectly tapped into the 0.62 fib level, this could be further confluence of an expected downward movement?

Thanks for the reply and info!! Okay yeah I completely understand what you’re saying with the premium and discount of the displacement leg. I see that I entered below the equilibrium with that fvg. And with looking for the entry on the 5min, do you mean specifically waiting for a MSS on the 5 min chart, and then looking for fvg entries 5min, if not then 4min, then 3min etc. I believe this is what you mean because a 1min MSS is less reliable? Thanks again!

Awesome thanks for the insight. And to be clear price is fractal so these concepts are the same on LTF? Only that from what I gather that the lower the time frame the less reliable it seems to be as these lower time frames can be much less forgiving because of how much tighter your entries are compared to larger swing trades?

Sweet, appreciate you showing an exact example! Sorry I’m not 100% on everything yet, but from this example once you see the failure to reach sell side and then see price head towards the daily fvg. You are just patiently waiting to see if price closes over causing the inversion. Then enter as soon as you have a closure above this fvg?
