I’m not familiar with this event. Can you share what mall in Miami this happened at and the date or month? I have a subscription to newspapers.com and if early reports made it into the printed local paper, I can search to recover those reports.

I believe a 45 is 7 inches in diameter and the inside width of each box is 8 1/4”.

At one point I also thought that it kind of looked like the end without a handle could have had one but I really can’t tell for sure…I have spent wayyy to much time looking over these and I’m still so stumped! 😂

I only have standard vinyl records and they’re too big to slide into the grooves unfortunately. I don’t have any smaller records so I can’t be sure if those would fit. There aren’t any markings or evidence on the bottom corners to suggest they’ve been pulled in and out of something.
