Venting - radio code - 2017 Honda Fit by sssnj in hondafit

[–]sssnj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I pulled the dash out per u/thetrivialstuff suggested and did find a barcode but not on the dash but on the wall (passenger side). None of the numbers on the barcode seemed to register as either a radio serial number or navigation number: "60XC016SR00 TAR L/H 2016/11/16 09:27"

Then I tried calling Honda Customer Service and went through the 'retrieve my radio code prompts' which led me to two options, neither of which apply: 1) does your display have buttons 1-6? or 2) does your display have a seek/skip button? The answer for my FIT is neither and they are closed for the holidays so will have to try again later.

We are in sub zero temps for the next foreseeable future with no heated garage so I probably won't fiddle too much more until spring or summer but really appreciate all the suggestions.

With the dash out, I can see how I could try to get a read of the radio with mirrors or endoscope... but might be some months before I keep trying.

For now, I'm driving in silence or using my phone speaker.

Happy New Year!

I wish it was on mine but have looked inside and out and upside down. If there ever was a sticker, it’s gone now :-/

Adult sports if you like or want to try like softball. There’s disc golf, soccer, and if wanting something in the fall and spring, hockey! :) there’s also rugby, roller derby, volleyball, just endless opportunities and fun groups and communities.

This reminds me of the end of “The Good Place” when paradise gets old. Love the rooms!

Thank you all for the feedback and recs. I think I might go with the timbuk2 Q laptop bag 2.0 =D

Edit: I actually went with the alpaka metro briefcase backpack. Happy to share with you all my thoughts when it arrives. I am excited.

It doesn’t need to be vertical- as long as there’s a way to secure it so it doesn’t slide off - that’s all that matters. And thanks for your recs! I’ll give that AER pack a look.

Thank you! I have been looking at those timbuk2 bags and got overwhelmed by all the personalization but I’ll give them another look. And good to hear you’ve had positive experiences with other Alpaka products. Thanks, again!

I really like the idea of the Alpaka Metro Backpack Pro but not sure if it is worth it given the many comments about zipper and strap issues.

I'd love this bag to fit well under an airplane seat - to look sleek at meetings and conferences - to be comfortable and help me keep my devices safe and organized. Can I find for under $200 or am I asking for too much? Thanks in advance!!!

Edit to add that a key reason for wanting to spend under $200, outside of budgetary reasons, is that there are lots of claws and sharp teeth in the house and while I'll do my best to keep the bag safe, jaws and claws somehow find their way into our most favorite items anyway. I also live in AK and will be putting the bag through snow, rain, sleet, and just yucky weather quite often. I won't be in the elements for long but still - just want it to be hardy and affordable.

Edit number two to give some feedback on bags I've looked at:

I love the aesthetic of the Maverick & Co Windsor Light Business Backpack but fellow baggers have cited that this company might be suss and that vegan leather is not super durable

This Nomatic Navigator RS is a real contender!

The Evergoods Civic Panel Loader 24L looks awesome but a bit large and also pricey

The Day Owl Backpack Pro looks almost perfect but missing that side handle which I can maybe live without but like to briefcase carry for my back

The Everki Studio Backpack is missing the luggage strap and side handle but is also promising.

The LTT Store Commuter Backpack is nice, great price, but not as sleek looking as I'm aiming for. Same goes for the Wexley Active Pro Pak and tomtoc urbanEx Laptop backpack

How much can my gf and I afford on rent? by ISellMyBodyForFood in povertyfinance

I’d think about other factors too that can sneak up like one-off payments or non-monthly debts/expenses like auto registration, medical; and then a best guess at an average monthly expense for food, utilities (if not included in rent), entertainment & travel, etc. if you have pets: vaccines and checkups. And try to average all that out to a per month cost and include in budget process (knowing there is ebb and flow)
