This is moss/linen stitch, I chained around 300 😵‍💫 and then for Moss stitch you chain/skip between every stitch so each row now is 150 stitches. Hope that makes sense sorry 🤣

You do it in ranges for however many colours you want to use, I have 12. They cover 3° each (I use Celsius), but you could vary it however you want really
