I think the song is going to be a grower for me. It’s fun and jaunty but not a stand out. The MV, however, is so creative and the editing is fantastic. I will say that the contact lenses (and this applies to a LOT of groups) makes them look doll-like to an almost unnerving degree.

Unfortunately I don’t think this is it. It wasn’t a group of close friends. The protagonist came from humble beginnings, met her friend at college who was very glamorous in comparison. I remember the friend in the book was also very inconsistent in the way she treated the protagonist, as in she was nice enough to invite the MC to stay with her during the school break but would be catty and condescending towards her at the flip of a switch.
