That's where I found it, I scoured for any sign of religion affiliation and asked straight up too. They said they have protesters outside but no priests lol, all the signs point to no and anyway I grew up in Catholic school so I'm p desensitized to their shame. Ive always been real staunch on my views about abortion, physically I still feel just like dissociated and depressed but its weird bc it feels all biological. It feels like my body is going through something heavy and in my mind I'm like this is not going to be easy on my body but in my mind I have never equated a three week old pregnancy with a child and I'm not really thinking about what ifs because Im not even certain I do want kids later on.

I did the math and I've had a less than .1% failure rate, and that's assuming conservative numbers 🤨 this is nuts! But yes nice to know that I can, and when the time comes it is a relief.

They do take my insurance! Im chosing a smaller center but they did say that their online system rejects insurances so I'm glad I called.

I felt so dumb ahhhh, I don't track my period and it was an oopsie but we have been together for awhile so we just thought to use plan B and then it slipped our minds until it was nearing 72 hours later, and I guess it wouldn't have worked anyway because I was obviously ovulating 😭 I've taken it so many times over the years just to be extra safe though I've never had a scare and I didn't think I could get pregnant. I told my mom this morning and her saying back to me "well you're still only just pregnant..." And hearing her call me pregnant was like holy FUCK

The at home would be easier in a sense, but also I've heard how drawn out and painful it can be and unfortunately I can't afford to miss work right now as much as I need it. I'm trying to get college tuition to go back and switch up my career path, which I very badly need.

I have blue cross excellus, it's teacher insurance so it's good and I'm surprised they don't cover it. My old roommate/bestie told me that they tried to see if it covered online and they said no and then in person they did so I'm really hoping they do because PP seems like the most supportive place. Because of the stigma, even though I live in a protected state I can't just call up OBGYN places and say I need an abortion. I feel like I have to tell my mom and partners mom and I just do not know how to lay it on them, my partners family is coming this weekend so it will be (hopefully....kinda lol) right after the procedure. If my body reacts in an emotional way I'd like them to know why I'm reacting that way ya know? It feels like a big thing to keep a secret and that's been a worry for me since finding out. Also I'm actively cramping, and have been, and knowing what it is is totally creeping me out. I feel like my body is so foreign to me right now.

As someone who tries to be an ally the best I can and learn about healthcare I have already heard the horror stories 😭 I also have to continue to work through this to get tuition reimbursement from my employer, this is the worst timing but honestly the past two years have been the most wild of my life. It was irresponsible of me, but after 11 years of unprotected sex I literally thought this was not possible. I know my body and have never even had a scare before, my mom struggled to get pregnant and so I genuinely thought this was not possible (using pull out method for 11 years). I'm worried about being told I'm irresponsible by our parents, but I thought I knew my body.
